Purpose
To train dentists who are competent with basic medical knowledge, capable of applying evidence-based dentistry, and possessing advanced professional skills.
To train dentists who know how to access information, can share the knowledge and experience they acquire with colleagues on national and international platforms, have strong communication skills, possess critical and analytical thinking, and conduct research and production using current methods and technologies.
To train dentists who are continuously open to developing their knowledge and skills in accordance with the principle of lifelong learning.
To train dentists who have internalized professional deontology and ethical principles, are aware of their duties, rights, and responsibilities, provide healthcare in accordance with quality standards, and are sensitive to global and public health issues.
Objectives
Objective 1 To train dentists who are competent with basic medical knowledge and apply evidence-based dentistry with advanced professional knowledge and skills.
Goal 1.1: Greater emphasis on active learning methods in education.
Goal 1.2: Keeping the curriculum up-to-date within the framework of the National Core Curriculum for Pregraduate Dentistry (DUÇEP).
Goal 1.3: Achieving international accreditation for pregraduate education.
Goal 1.4: Prioritizing curriculum planning by taking into account community health issues and stakeholder needs.
Objective 2 To train dentists who know how to access information, can share knowledge and experience nationally and internationally, possess strong communication skills, critical and analytical thinking, and conduct research and production using modern methods and technologies.
Goal 2.1: Directing volunteer students to participate in university-based project teams.
Goal 2.2: Including the fundamentals of scientific research and the use of current technologies and methods for accessing professional knowledge in course content.
Goal 2.3: Developing the necessary foreign language proficiency to follow international academic resources.
Objective 3 To train dentists who are continuously open to developing their knowledge and skills in accordance with the principle of lifelong learning.
Goal 3.1: Organizing face-to-face or online educational activities for professional development at national and international levels.
Goal 3.2: Organizing symposiums and conferences with the participation of competent national and international speakers in their field.
Goal 3.3: Updating and maintaining the curriculum to ensure graduates achieve the core roles and competencies expected of them.
Goal 3.4: Continuing post-graduation education through training and social activities.
Goal 3.5: Supporting student clubs focused on professional development.

Goal 4.1: Planning social responsibility projects in cooperation with regional and national institutions and organizations.
Goal 4.2: Ensuring pregraduate education is planned and conducted in accordance with healthcare quality processes.
Goal 4.3: Ensuring students actively participate in community oral and dental health organizations.
Goal 4.4: Instilling ethical behavior in line with professional deontology throughout the education process, particularly in doctor-patient communication and interprofessional relationships.
