
In our new Faculty of Dentistry building, there are a total of five classrooms used for theoretical education. Four of these are located on the ground floor of the student block, designed in an amphitheater style with a capacity of 150 students each, equipped with audio-visual systems. The fifth classroom is located on the second floor of the student block, with a capacity of 186 students and an audio-visual system arranged in a traditional classroom layout.

_Adjacent to the second-floor student amphitheater, there is a laboratory-classroom prepared for Histology, one of the basic science courses conducted by the Faculty of Medicine. This laboratory, equipped with projection systems, has a capacity of 30 microscopes and can also be used for courses, workshops, and hands-on training sessions.
On the dean’s floor (5th floor) of our faculty, there is a 120-person capacity hall equipped with audio-visual systems for general meetings and presentations. Additionally, on the same floor, there is a 20-person capacity meeting room with a projection system, used for faculty board and administrative board meetings. Beyond these, each department maintains its own seminar rooms.
Laboratories and Clinics
On the first floor of the student block, essential practical courses for dental education are conducted. This includes a prosthodontics preclinical laboratory with a capacity of 86 students and a phantom laboratory with a capacity of 60 students, both completed in 2018 through the support of the Ministry of Development, Ondokuz Mayıs University Rectorate, and our faculty._

_Our research laboratory is located on the first floor of the cafeteria block in the new Faculty of Dentistry building. Equipment and instruments obtained from previously completed research projects funded by BAP, TÜBİTAK, and similar programs are made available in our R&D laboratory for use by all faculty members.

Black Sea Region Center for Oral and Dental Health of Individuals with Disabilities (General Anesthesia Unit)_

The eight departments provide theoretical, preclinical, and clinical education to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th-year students as part of the undergraduate dental program. In the MDK (Multidisciplinary Clinic) application at the city polyclinic, clinical practice is designed to enhance students’ problem-solving skills for office-based patient care under the supervision of faculty members.

The Institute of Health Sciences offers doctoral programs for all departments and actively graduates students. Postgraduate students are admitted to specialty programs in the departments through the central Specialty Dentistry Examination (DUS).
Black Sea Region Center for Oral and Dental Health of Individuals with Disabilities
Located on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Dentistry building, opposite the Department of Surgery clinic, this unit operates with one anesthesiologist, anesthesia staff, a nurse, and a secretary. It includes two operating rooms, ten patient rooms, a sedation room, and pre- and post-operative recovery areas.
The center primarily provides dental services to individuals with disabilities, followed by adult patients with dental anxiety or gag reflex issues, covering all types of dental treatments. Additionally, all major and minor surgical procedures conducted by the surgical department are performed under sedation or general anesthesia.
