The "Dentistry and Stem Cell Applications" training seminar, organized by the Faculty of Dentistry at Ondokuz Mayıs University, was held with high participation at the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.
The opening speech was delivered by our Faculty Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Feyza Otan Özden. In the seminar, chaired by Prof. Dr. Umur Sakallıoğlu, the current place and future of stem cell technologies in dentistry were comprehensively discussed.
Within the scope of the program:
Prof. Dr. Sezgin Güneş (Director of Ondokuz Mayıs University Stem Cell Application and Research Center) shared the fundamental dynamics with the participants through his presentation titled "Basic Knowledge and Concepts Regarding Stem Cells."
Following the break, Prof. Dr. Sema Hakkı (Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology) presented innovative clinical approaches regarding the "Use of Stem Cells and Cellular Products in Dentistry."
The productive session, where questions from participants and students were answered during the Q&A and discussion segment, concluded with contributions from expert names in the field.
