An informative event was organized at our Faculty to emphasize the importance of organ donation and to raise public awareness on this vital issue.
During the event, Ms. Canan Arife Çil, representative of the Atakum District Health Center, delivered a comprehensive presentation addressing the organ donation process, the relevant legal framework, and the life-saving contributions of organ donation to human health.
Through the messages “My greatest legacy is my organs” and “Organ donation is the gift of life,” the event underscored the profound meaning of donation—donating our hearts so that loved ones may not be separated, our eyes so that others may witness the beauty of the world, and offering hope to one of thousands of patients awaiting transplantation.
