It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of the father-in-law of our Faculty Member and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşe Pınar SÜMER, and the father of our former Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Mahmut SÜMER. The funeral of the deceased will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 (today) in the Tefenni district of Burdur, where he will be laid to rest. We pray that Almighty God grants mercy upon the soul of the departed, and extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones, wishing them patience and strength in this time of grief.
